Dung beetles are miraculous creatures - swiftly sweeping away animal droppings and clearing the ground in a matter of hours. Without them, agriculture could not function at the scale that it does today. And yet, they are rarely thanked for the job that they do.

Dung beetles are just one of millions of species of insects that are working hard behind the scenes while no one is paying attention. They are, in many ways, the oil that lubricates the gears that keep our planet moving.

Think about the little guys, and be grateful that they exist - for we wouldn’t be able to live our cosy lifestyles without them.
