Ring Sizing Guide
Of course, when buying a ring, purchasing the correct size is critical. Many of our rings contain certain materials and stones which may make them difficult or impossible to resize; so you want to make sure you get it right the first time.
If you already know your ring size and need to convert it to AU measurement (A-Z), scroll to the bottom for the conversion chart below.
MEASURING YOUR RING SIZE
For the highest degree of accuracy, we recommend seeking a professional ring sizing from any local jeweller. This won’t take long and should be free from most jewellers. Particularly if you plan on ordering an item with gold plate, solid gold, or any gemstones that make it tricky to resize - we would only recommend this option, as measuring your ring size at home can be tricky to rely on. Plus, once you have all of your finger sizes, you can keep them written down for reference whenever you need it.
We do, however, understand that not everyone may have local jewellers available to them, or may just prefer to measure their ring size at home. It is important to understand that this option will typically not be as reliable as a professional sizing, however, it can be useful if done properly. Below is written a step-by-step instruction on how to measure your ring size yourself:
MEASURING YOUR RING SIZE AT HOME:
Step 1: Cut off a length of string (you can also use a thin strip of paper)
Step 2: Wrap the string reasonably tightly around the base of your finger and mark/cut the string at the point where it overlaps (if the string is too loose then the sizing will be too big, make sure it is snug)
Step 3: Now measure the length of the string where you have marked/cut it - this is the circumference of your ring size.
Step 4: Check the circumference against the chart below to find your ring size in letters (A-Z)
Make sure you are as precise as possible with this measurement, as small differences with ring size can be quite noticeable.
